What better way to learn about what NOT to do with electricity than have the students act these scenarios out? Today, the students were given a safety hazard scenario, in groups of 2-3 and they are creating a little skit to emphasize what NOT to do with electricity and explain why this is so dangerous. This is a quick exercise which they will present in class tomorrow.

The science quizzes were given back today to make corrections to their quiz. I will bump them up one number grade once they've made their corrections. Once I've adjusted their grade, they can take them home.
We will have a review class on Monday (maybe Tuesday as well) and do a final check-in for Chemistry on Wednesday. You should know vocabulary such as: heterogeneous, homogeneous, saturated, hypothesis, solvent, solute, dissolve, pH, acid, base, neutral, etc. You should also know the scientific method! This will probably be in the form of a quiz given next Wednesday! If you've participated in the labs in class and will participate in the review activities on Monday and Tuesday, you will be completely fine. Our next unit that we're starting is.....ELECTRICITY!
